I'm looking for anyone who's worked at Foley & Lardner's IP Department (DC Office) for some insight on the firm. I have a CB with them and would greatly appreciate any advice/suggestions.

They gave out starbucks gift cards in their hospitality suite, so they obviously know their schwag. The recruiter was wearing a seersucker suit and NW DC is not the south, so they obviously don't know that certain pieces of attire cannot be worn outside of certain regions.
I've heard the CBs were sorta good cop/bad cop, if you know what I mean.

Strong patent prosecution practice, but their litigation practice isn't really a serious DC shop.

OP here. Anyone know of any reason NOT to work there? I've read about the 39 attorneys who were fired back in 2009. Should I still be concerned about this?
