I recently interviewed with Knobbe at PLIP.
Does anyone know if the GlassDoor reviews about Knobbe are credited?

My understanding is that these things are rarely credited.Anonymous User wrote:I recently interviewed with Knobbe at PLIP.

They were super credited for finding non-legal jerbs. You just have to realize it is prob gonna be a lot of (a) recruiters posting propaganda, and (b) slighted or laid off former employees.
In any case, why not read them? Do you think relying solely on a soulless HR rep whose job it is to make you giddy to slave for boomer partners is the credited route?

OP Here:
Additionally, any insight as to their litigation v. prosecution groups would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Knobbe GlassDoor Reviews
I think they're accurate. I've met lots of people who have left Knobbe over the last 2-3 years, including several at my boutique. They all think Knobbe used to be a great firm, but they have serious work distribution problems. Associates were flying around from office to office asking partners for work. It's common to be "on review" for having low hours because of the lack of work. They hired too many people.
I have heard that they now have a very low hours requirement for the first year though, so maybe things are better now.

They underestimated the impact of the economic downturn on their business and over-hired for a few years always thinking things would get better in time for the next class of associates to start. There wasn't enough work for everyone for a few years, so a lot of associates got upset and went online to vent. Those reviews are primarily what you're seeing on Glass Door.Anonymous User wrote:I think they're accurate. I've also heard that it has gotten better because they've decreased their class sizes and the hours requirements for first year associates. The damage to their rep as a workplace might take awhile to improve though.
