Callback in NY two weeks ago. Nothing but silence since.

Had a CB with Proskauer last week and was told that hiring committee would meet last Friday. I was also told that I'd hear back from them in about a week.

Nothing but silence since, but it hasn't quite been a week for me yet.

Sounds like the hiring committee meets on Fridays. Any confirmation on this?

I had my CB this tuesday and was told the hiring committee would meet on Friday. The lady was very nice and indicated that news may come out starting next week.

I'm not sure I would lose hope yet. Hearing today is dependent on your caller wanting to spend his or her Saturday making calls.

Last year I had a callback in the NY office in mid-August, and I didn't get an offer until more than three weeks later. Hope that makes some of you feel better.

Rejection received through snail mail today. CB was the first week of August.

And when was it post-marked? It sounded like the first committee meeting was Friday, but the Internet is wrong occasionally.

Since it seems like the hiring committee typically meets on Fridays and offers are made Mondays, do you think offers will be made today, Monday or Tuesday in lieu of the Labor Day holiday on Monday?
