Cover Letters - Address to Recruiting or Hiring Attorney?

Post by LittleMM » Mon Aug 12, 2013 12:00 pm

If a firm has a job opening and the name of the recruiting contact and the name of the hiring attorney are both provided, to whom should I address my cover letter?

Such a trite issue, I know, but I'm a little rusty when it comes to job hunting right now...

The best thing to do is always to call the office and just ask to whom you should address the letter. However, if you don't do this and address it to the hiring attorney instead of the person in charge of recruiting or whatever, it's unlikely to be a ding.
