I have callbacks with some "prestigious" firms and some not-as prestigious ones all over V100 and below. They're telling me to pick one firm to send everything to, and then that firm will send it to the others and split the costs. I was going to pick the most prestigious firm and then slightly got concerned that the other firms will dismiss my interviews at their firms thinking I'm using them as "back-up" (not the case at all, funnily enough, but I'm afraid of being conceived that way).
I get that they'll all know who each other are, but any input would be helpful, thanks!

While I have no knowledge of this, I am highly unlikely that the people making hiring decisions are going to see let alone even know of these papers

I can't think of anything that could matter less to whether you get hired or not

it's not an unreasonable concern at first sight. its rare but a couple of interviewers and recruiters have asked where else i was interviewing and i while i have a hard time imagining how that would figure into any decision, i suspect it wasn't just idle chat either. that said, basically this:

I know it's only one response, but a recruiter for a firm addressed this exact question when visiting our school. She said they would not read into it at all, and suggested that we just pick the firm that will do the most planning so you have to worry as little as possible regarding travel/accomodations. And then just let the firms work it out.
