Yale FIP 2013
We don't have much of a contingent here, I don't think, but it's worth having some place where we can post about callbacks, offers, etc., and bids are due Monday.
I like the idea of giving ourselves anonymous identifiers, as they've done in the past for Harvard's, so we can keep track of each other if necessary.

Excited to see this page! It seems like a real shame there aren't more of us here.
How did everyone else do with bids? I bid strategically, mostly on NY firms, and ended up with all of my top 18 and a couple more outside that. Mostly V20 firms. I was kind of amazed I got that many.

Cleary NY has been making calls as well, as has Fried Frank. And I know at least one Kirkland & Ellis office has started rejection emails.

If we haven't heard from Cleary NY yet, do you think that's bad news?

Re: Yale FIP 2013
Hard to know. If it's any help, the person who called me told me that they wouldn't be sending emails with the details until Thursday. I wonder if that's because some of the interviewers are taking longer to make calls.Anonymous User wrote:If we haven't heard from Cleary NY yet, do you think that's bad news?
I heard that Simpson Thacher made calls today, and that Sutherland is scheduling callbacks for at least one of its offices.
Paul Weiss NY has also made calls and sent emails.

Didn't Paul Weiss callback every interviewee?

That would fit their pattern. I don't know of anyone who got rejected, but I only talked to a couple of people about it.Anonymous User wrote:Didn't Paul Weiss callback every interviewee?

Re: Yale FIP 2013
Some interviewers glanced at my transcript and then talked about random things not related to my resume. They didn't make any note on my resume as interviewers who have given me cb did. Maybe I didn't even make their grades cut?

I'm not a DC person, but I haven't heard anyone mention Jones Day DC. I interviewed for a different Jones Day office and haven't heard back.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard from Jones Day DC?
Can confirm that callbacks have been made for: Milbank NY, Freshfields NY, and a non-NY/DC Skadden office.
