Bidding after a ding?
I mass mailed a firm in market A, got a ding about a week later without any interview or anything. Would it make sense or be reasonable to still bid this firm's office in market B during OCI? My school is in market B.

Yes! Do it. Especially if you really want to work there, that is a pretty big deal. Last year, I had mass mailed Akin Gump. Ding. I had a screening interview that was preselected at the vault mcca diversity fair. Ding. Then I bid them in OCI and didn't get them but stopped by their hospitality suite to drop off my resume. I got a call back right from that.

Re: Bidding after a ding?
Totally agree with the first response, especially since it's in a different market. I got dinged by one firm at a diversity fair, and then got a preselect at OCI. Another firm dinged me at the diversity fair and for OCI pre-select, but then called for an interview for its diversity scholarship/associate position. For both firms, I was applying to the same office location!
Worst thing that can happen is they tell you no anyway. Good luck!
