Kansas City Firms Accepting Applications from Rising 3L's?
Does anyone know of any KC firms currently looking for rising 3Ls through OCI or otherwise? For example: Husch, Polsinelli, Shook, Stinson, Lathrop, Armstrong Teasdale, Dentons?

UT OCI had Shook, Husch, Bryan Cave, and Lathrop and all only posted for 2Ls. Obviously that doesn't mean that they aren't looking for 3Ls but I thought I would pass it along.

Re: Kansas City Firms Accepting Applications from Rising 3L's?
Shook (which has an application on their website for non-OCI schools) says they prefer experience in those applying for associate, which is what a 3L would be applying for considering they wouldn't be applying for a summer position.
I think school/previous summer job will come into consideration. I can see a KC atty loving to hear someone say "I worked in NYC and I found it an unsustainable city to live in and I want to move back home to KC." Most people working in KC probably could have gotten NYC (they have top grades--albeit from regional schools, but then again they likely chose to go to a regional school on purpose), so they would likely sympathize.
