Am I wasting my time with the mass mailing? Forum

I'm in LA, where I was born and raised, went to UG and worked before going to the east coast for law school. Currently attending a lower T14 and lower median there. I've been e-mailing LA firms but the market's tougher than say, New York, and all I really have going for me is the T14 name since the grades are not so strong. Should I just stop the emails and focus my energy on prepping for OCI's?

I'm applying to more locations but thought I'd mention it since it is a bigger market and one I have ties to. I have no ties to any other area.

Mass mailing (esp your home market) is not a waste of time.

No. You need to mass mail. But if your problem is prioritizing with limited time, I'd focus on any interviews you already have. Doesn't mean you give up mass mailing, but maybe just do less of it until your OCIs and such are done.
