Family connections? Any connection that essentially would get you a job as a lawyer? If not, dropping out may be the best...prevent more debt and wasted time.

Not sure if you have to pay fall tuition before OCI but you might as well roll the dice and try to hit the lottery?
Lots of firms will ding for the GPA though, however, I do know someone with a 3.1 that got something...
EDIT: Just thought of something, get a job, transfer to evening, and try OCI after taking all non-curved classes in your 2L year.

63% of Fordham grads get full-time, long-term, JD-required jobs. So obviously SOME below-median students get real law jobs. But most don't, and a lot of the ones who do get jobs that pay very poorly, especially in light of the astronomical COL in NYC. So you're not totally screwed, but obviously you're not in a good place.
Consider whether you really want to go through with the remaining two years. Are you running up a lot of debt? Do you have other marketable skills? Are you less than enthusiastic about law studies so far? Do you lack connections that could land you a legal job? Would you be very unhappy starting out as a doc reviewer or working part-time? If the answer to most of these is Yes, drop out.

Also I guess you can keep in mind that the past two have been Fordham's worst employment years in more than 20 years so it could possibly be better for you?Robespierre wrote:63% of Fordham grads get full-time, long-term, JD-required jobs. That said, I don't think I know anyone with a sub 3.0 who got something through OCI.
At this point I wouldn't even know how to advise you to bid, maybe just high bid some place like Skaaden with 100 SAs and hope you can sell whatever secondary skills you might have? Either way you'll get some interviews and you can then try to hustle.
I would personally consider dropping out though if you will end up with more than 100k in debt when all is said and done.
