Fall/Spring Position and 3L Associate
I am working at a small firm as a law clerk for the summer but want to work at a large or mid-size firm after school. Do these types of firms hire many law clerks for the school year? And how often to they offer 3L summer associate positions? If so, when is the best time to apply for these positions?

As for clerks during the year, some big firms do, but it depends on their need. There's not a set schedule. Just check with symplicity etc. frequently.
As for SA's, why would you want to be an SA after you graduate (unless you're an evening student), don't you have bar prep to do then?
