From what I've heard (anecdotal) as long as your work is good and your exceeding your req billable hours, you could prob start smoke crack during a meeting and someone would just politely ask you to put it away. However, they probably won't make you partner.

While I've never heard of law firms drug testing, I have heard of corporations drug testing lawyers headed there for inhouse gigs.

Can confirm. currently summering in-house at a major company. I had to take a urine drug test and they did a full background check.

Another big law associate here, posting to say that I too have never heard of drug testing at a V100.
