Non-Legal Job - Do it?
I'm a 3L at a T2 in top third of my class.
I have an interview for a position with a branch of the military as an "analyst." I would be getting paid somewhere between $75-85k. The job requires my verbal and writing skills learned at law school as well as the ability to think logically. If there are reasonable opportunities for some form of advancement, I'm crazy not to take this right (if i get it of course).
I'd be working 40 hours a week, federal holidays/vacation, etc.
I'd be moving from Chicago to DC.

lol you need to take that. that sounds like a job that a lot of big law quitters dream of. plus it sounds like you could use that for exit options or just live the life. unless you have a burning desire to be a lawyer, take that job before someone else does.

Dude
I'd take that no question
More money than the small firms you'd be looking at
And probably less hours
Grats mang

Interview tomorrow morning. Got my fingers crossed. Got the interview through a friend, so I may not be up against a lot of competition. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for being really excited about this.
