I'm going to be at a V50 this summer. I was wondering if it would be possible to interview with firms over the summer and switch to a better firm in the same market. I have reasons other than vault rank to not like my firm, so it's not about that.
If it is possible, how would I go about switching? I have a few partner and junior contacts at target firms. Should I focus on juniors (who would have more time and be more willing to meet with me) and then hope that they make more partner introductions?
How would I go about this?
Or, should I just wait until 3L OCI?
