Just wanted to say there is still hope for those w/o Summer positions. Got a spot at a boutique yesterday. This is the season for boutiques/smaller firms so get on it!

I know someone that got an offer at a firm today. Smaller firm, but it's still a job, so yeah, there is still hope...but it's fleeting.

It is the pits right now. The options are few - RA, volunteer, etc. The firms are done except for an odd last minute at a smaller firm. Noboby is talking which to me means there are many in this same position, though maybe they all have jobs and are just being polite.

I've moved to cultivating hiring partner contacts for 3L. My grades have improved, so hopefully that will lead to something for OCI/massmailing.

It's really shitty the extent little screw-ups during a 2 week period fucked up my law school career.

After months of utter shit and despair, I received an offer yesterday (interviewed Friday) to be summer in-house at a major company for 1500/week. Such a damn relief.

But yea, there are still a few positions out there.

Landed an offer at a small firm for $1k/week and a pretty likely offer for in house at a F500 (pay TBD) in the last couple weeks.

Keep fighting the good fight, y'all. Really hit up those contacts, keep mass mailing, and keep your chin up.

Sounds a bit like an interviewing problem, man. That's a metric ton of screeners and a horrible screener-CB ratio for you.
