DUI and legal employment
I'll be starting law school this fall and I got a DUI in 2009. What are your serious experiences with having a DUI and trying to find employment? Is BigLaw not a possibility? Is Corporate Law not a possibility?

If it's your only offense, you're fine. Prosecutors' offices might look at you funny, but no one in a firm will care. If it's part of a larger pattern, it'll be more of an issue.

Firms don't get your criminal record or anything prior to hiring SAs. Some firms will run some sort of background check prior to extending full-time offers, but I can't imagine a single DUI (unless it's like a DUI manslaughter) will raise too many problems.
