in-house banking to compliance?
I am going to be working in the in-house legal department of a bulge bracket i-bank for the summer. i'm a 2L who struck out at OCI, so now I'm wondering if maybe I should be going hard at getting a compliance gig post-grad, as big law is out of the picture. I'm wondering if anybody has experience finding compliance gigs, and really, how to actively search for them (they never pop up on my school's symplicity or at our OCI). Also, this summer gig seems very compliance oriented (they even have a practice group called compliance) - any thoughts on how to use this to my advantage?
