Hello everyone,
I am in need of some advice or some threads to point me in the right direction. Just received my 1L fall grades back and I am top 6-7% at a mid-range tier 2 in a decent sized city (good legal market). No major connections.
I have been applying to various positions paid/not paid, even applied for a research assistant position, but I really don't know the best way to approach the hiring process. Career services has been pretty silent other than a few seminars on summer employment.
What should I target? What is the best way to go about summer employment? At this point I feel like an idiot.
Any advice, links, other threads would be great. Thank you all.
