So I'm guessing not many people have actually tried signing up for it? Not worth the risk?

It's me again.. but now that the deadline for the SoCal job fair is over, has anyone signed up and gotten anything from it???
Does nobody use them? Is it a scam?.. seems like a scam.

I have no idea what you're talking about because I googled that and nothing happened.
But yeah, plenty of people get their jobs from job fairs unrelated to the school. I kind of prefer searching that way because I get to avoid career services.
Why would it be a scam? You should be paying a dime to go to a job fair.

Re: www.lawschooljobfairs.com legit or not?
Just wanted to share my experience on this site for others who might be interested, as I couldn't find any other threads that concluded one way or another. My career services adviser looked into it after I forwarded her info on its upcoming job fair, and she advised me not to trust the site. My friend also did a look up of their address listed on their site (3835 E Thousand Oaks Blvd Westlake Village, CA 91362), and it's a shopping center (http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/13887020 ... illage-CA/). To be fair, they could have a suite number within the center, but it's odd they wouldn't have included the suite number in its address. So until I find anything that assures me otherwise, don't think it's legit.
