Jackson Lewis
Has anyone heard anything on Jackson Lewis summer positions? Specifically curious about tri-state offices (Stamford, NY, White PLains, Morristown) but wouldn't mind hearing about the rest of the offices as well.

I just emailed a managing partner my materials. So far, crickets. I will bump if I ever get a response.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard anything on Jackson Lewis summer positions? Has anyone heard anything from any offices? Has anyone worked there recently or anyone otherwise know info on summer program and beyond (specific practice areas, pay, hours, offer rate, etc)?

Re: Jackson Lewis
I heard from an unofficial hiring partner at one of the tri-state offices that they do not have a typical program and decide closer to the summer as to whether to create a small program for that particular year (or something to that effect)...has anyone worked there recently either full-time or as summer that can shed light on this or anything about the firm?

Accepted an SA position at an office in the "South" back in fall 2012.

Re: Jackson Lewis
I heard from an associate of a "Southern" office (might be the same one) of having recruited early in fall. Would you mind disclosing compensation details or any other info about the program that you know of?

Re: Jackson Lewis
Bumping this in the hopes that someone out there has any information about Jackson Lewis (any office).
For instance, NALP shows in 2011 there were 18 SAs but only 6 offers, and another (possibly not reputable) site shows in 2010 there were 12 SAs but only 6 offers. Anyone know why?

What do you want to know? They don't hire a lot of summers and don't tend to have a formal program.Anonymous User wrote:No one out there has any info...?

1) Experiences of former SAs relating to firm culture; and 2) SA offer rate info.Anonymous User wrote:What do you want to know? They don't hire a lot of summers and don't tend to have a formal program.Anonymous User wrote:No one out there has any info...?

FWIW: I was told by my career services office that Jackson Lewis just doesn't do SA or entry level hiring any more.

Re: Jackson Lewis
Not sure what office you guys are talking about not having SA program but they've been doing OCI for Morristown. Had a screener week and a half ago and got a callback 5 days later.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
