Hey everyone.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to expect at a 3rd round interview at a district attorney office. I will be interviewing at the Bronx DA office in a few days and wasn't sure if I need to prepare for a hypo or something.
I know you meet with the DA him self and I've heard that the interviews are about 10 minutes but aren't too legally intensive like the 2nd round interviews.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Not Bronx but my third round interview with a big city DA was more about me and why I wanted to be there rather than another crim pro quiz. I wasn't asked any substantive law questions like the ones during rounds one and two.

When I did my 3rd round in the Bronx, its was with the DA and one other person in the DA's office. It was pretty quick - no hypos or anything like that. Just a few questions about you, stuff on your resume and info on the application form. No big deal.masknight wrote:Hey everyone.

have you gotten a reply yet? I've heard that once you've gotten to the third interview, it's usually a good chance you've got the job. Some places (like the Manhattan DA apparently) offer you a position at the final round.
How long did the interview last?

It felt like it was around 10-15 minutes, but it might have actually been a little shorter. There will be a bunch of people there, and you will each be called in one after the other.masknight wrote:have you gotten a reply yet? I would love it if you are right (about 3rd round being a good indication of an offer). My 3rd round was a few weeks ago and I have not heard anything yet, so we will see. I read somewhere that you should be prepared to accept an offer at the Bronx 3rd round, though I do not know of anyone who got an offer right there at the interview. Good luck.
