Is LSAT score a factor for JAG employment?
I was wondering if LSAT scores were a direct factor in getting a jag position. I always assumed it was an indirect factor since prestige of your school is important but I recently heard something different.
Thanks for the help.

Once you're in law school no one cares about your LSAT. Same as why law schools don't ask for your SAT/GRE.kweehunt wrote:I was wondering if LSAT scores were a direct factor in getting a jag position. One school I applied to is asking for my SAT scores. . I find it quite ridiculous. I have no idea where I'm going to get that information.dingbat wrote:Once you're in law school no one cares about your LSAT. I had a judge ask for my LSAT score once. That was the end of that application.

I was asked about my LSAT before being extended an offer (3L).

You have to have a certain minimum to apply to some (155 I think, maybe). Read the military lawyers/JAG thread and all ur questions will be answered. It is just a hoop from my understanding though. Get the score and move on.

For the Navy, yes they care. It is part of your application and big JAG tracks the median LSAT for each board and overall.
