Hi,
I was wondering what everyones thoughts about dechert in philly are and how the quality of work compares with other big law firms? How happy are associates at dechert and how are the options for them after yrs to become partner vs moving to another law firm? Any upsides vs downsides in particular about the firm? Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!!

Re: Philadelphia market - Dechert
I talked to a former Dechert associate, now at another V-100, he said it was an absolute hell with many people exploding and screaming about the smallest things. Again, former associate of that office so do not know how reliable the info. is, maybe he was trying to sell me to his current firm, I have no idea... but according to him, not at all a pleasant environment.

Really?? Thats terrible. Could you tell me more? Maybe you could PM me? I def think it is valuable from a former employee-they will always tell you all the details since nothing to lose.
