Does anyone have knowledge of how thorough a background check from a DA's office would be? I, for example, have several offenses that were expunged before I began attending law school. I did, of course, disclose this to my law school and will disclose it to the state bar, as well as to the DA's office if they ask for it.
1) If the DA's office either asks for or discovers that I had a handful of non-violent misdemeanor charges (all of which were dropped by the DA) expunged, would that exclude me from employment?
2) If they don't ask and don't find it on their own, how great is the risk that it is later discovered and become an issue?
