I had a screener this past week with them--did anyone hear anything about their recruiting cycle? Any similar experiences? Any info on pay as summer and first-year?

I interviewed with the NY office last year. For 2L summers they paid $30 per hour.

I also interviewed with them this week, but I was quickly rejected by email. Perhaps you are still in the running.

When I interviewed for 2L summer, they made it very clear that there were no guarantees. They said they were hiring about 10 to 15 for the summer and had no idea whether there would be any positions open for after graduation. I really appreciated that they were so open about it. They may not hire afterwards, but any firm doing immigration would love someone who worked for Fragomen. It is THE firm for employment-based immigration.

Anyone hear anything from them? had an interview like 2 weeks ago, thought it went really well, but I haven't heard anything. They said it would be about 2 weeks until they made a decision, but I'm thinking its prob gonna take longer because of Sandy.

Ditto-tried calling but didn't even ring. I wonder if their office got hit bad by Sandy (I believe they recently moved to Wall Street area)

As of last summer they did not have a formal summer associate program. I do not know if this has changed.

I recently interviewed there (Friday before Hurricane Sandy), and when I wrote my thank you's they wrote back saying it would be awhile. They've been moved to a temporary office in Chelsea.

Does anyone know turn around time from callback? Also, do you get the 28 Nalp days to decide?

Which office are you all talking about? Just to be sure we are all on the same page about which office has finished/not finished hiring.
