I applied back in late August but have not heard anything. Has anyone heard anything?

I presume you mean the State Dept, and yes, I interviewed in DC with them back in September and don't expect to hear any word until December. Good luck!

I havent heard anything-applied Sept 1. I am doing a clerkship with them this spring in the office of the legal adviser. Does anyone know if DoS ever hires their semester clerks for full-time employment afterwards? Thanks!

Re: DOS Honors 2013
The honors program and the internship are separated by an impenetrable divide, never the twain shall meet. Actually, it depends on your pedigree. State is notorious for being as pedigree conscious as NYC Big Law. If you get an internship and you are in the recruiting sweet spot for NYC Big Law then it's possible. Otherwise, you're prob out of luck. I know someone who interned a whole academic year there, was getting an LLM from a top tier and he still couldn't get on. It's super competitive. Good luck.Anonymous User wrote:I havent heard anything-applied Sept 1. I am doing a clerkship with them this spring in the office of the legal adviser.
