God damn PH and W&C for rejecting me earlier in the process. And I actually really liked them even though I was aware of their reputation.

Meh, just re-apply. Acknowledge the earlier rejection (along the lines of "While I recognize PH was not able to offer me further interviews at x point, I remain interested because y and have since done z"), say you are still interested for whatever reasons, and take a stab at it. What have you got to lose?

Some schools have resume books of their 2L students without offers that employees can access. Has anyone ever had any luck with that... ever?

What's with multiple MWE offices posting all over the place for various practice groups? Seems weird that offices all over the country had a low SA offer acceptance rate. I have applied a million times to MWE, and they never want me.

Care to say who? Was it one of the firms hit by Sandy? I was really hoping the lack of calls was because of that....

Likely turning down offers at Chicago V30 and DC V70 (both headquarters) this week so good luck -- hope that's a sufficiently narrow band to figure out what firms I am talking about/to send cover letters
