Lateral transfer - how long until start job typically?
What is an average amount of time given before one is allowed to start their job as a lateral? Received an offer in a different city and would like to have as much time before starting. Start date was not specified and I'm wondering what the averages are and what is reasonable to ask for. Any suggestions?

No clue, but I'd say up to 30 days is reasonable.

30-60 days from date of acceptance.
Notice: 2 weeks min. (4 weeks is common)
Moving time: 2-4 weeks common and reasonable
