Navy JAG Interviews
Got an interview coming up for Navy JAG. I've been through most of the Military Law thread and found a little info there, but there isn't much.
Can anyone share their interview experience? How are the interviews usually structured? Any advice on preparation? What type of questions do they ask? I've heard it is not your typical interview..
Thanks in advance.

I'd appreciate some help as well. I've had several informational interviews with JAG, but now I'm applying for a commission and just wondering what to expect.

Re: Navy JAG Interviews
Information I've gathered from speaking to Navy JAGS/others:
-It's very structured. I believe you will be asked the same questions as everyone else. For this reason, I don't think you'll be able to find someone that will tell you exactly what questions they were asked.
-You will be asked mostly (if not entirely) scenario-based questions. You will have to problem solve and come up with solutions. My understanding that it is very much a behavioral interview.
-Despite this, I would be prepared to knock some questions out of the park: why military, why navy, etc.
-The interviewer will not give you feedback throughout the interview. Don't look for it and don't let it throw you off. The person will not (or at least should not) nod along to your answers, tell you that you did a good job, etc.
-Similarly, don't expect chit-chat or small talk
-As always with the military, sir and ma'am

Thanks for the info. I'm a 3L and will be doing the real interview, not the informational interviews sometimes held at OCIs.

*Edit* Also, are the questions more similar to the questions asked in DA interviews like (you're in this ethical dilemma situation what do you do about dilemma..) or just basic behavioral questions ("tell me about a time when you had to motivate a group..").

Current Navy JAG and interviewer - the questions change each cycle, but the responses above are accurate. As to school range, you will see JAGS from all over, but they ate starting to get more elitist. My class of 20 or so Navy JAGS had two from Harvard, a couple from GT one from UVA a bunch from GW and a smattering of others. I think I was the only one from a T2 there
