Phillips & Cohen
They started doing callbacks... any info? salary for the fellowship? Is a 1 year fellowship at a private firm really even worth it?

Yes, esp. if you want to do whistleblower/FCA cases. There's really no one quite like Philips&Cohen in that field.Anonymous User wrote:They started doing callbacks... any info? salary for the fellowship? Is a 1 year fellowship at a private firm really even worth it?

how big of a market is whistleblower/FCA cases though? Seems like almost no exit options for a 1 year fellowship that doesn't turn into a full time offer.

Most people who do whistleblower cases I want to do it as a career. People do not go to a firm like Philips Cohen looking to get another job.Anonymous User wrote:how big of a market is whistleblower/FCA cases though? I thought they weren't hiring entry level associates anymore because they started the post-grad fellowship.

Re: Phillips & Cohen
The way the guy described it in the interview was that the fellowship offered a chance to develop litigation skills since a lot of public interest organizations don't have the money to train new grads, and P&C offers a more attractive option for some new grads who want to go into PI than having to go to a big firm first. It made sense to me the way he described it.Anonymous User wrote:how big of a market is whistleblower/FCA cases though? Does anyone know what the salary is for the fellowship?

Re: Phillips & Cohen
apparently the salary is pretty significant, at least for a fellowship (not 1styear biglaw level though).
