What Firm/Group has MOST financial UPSIDE?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Sep 28, 2012 12:13 am

sans M&A at WLRK. And does the answer change if you speculate wrt most financial upside for the median associate vs. most financial upside for the top 10% of social/best performing associates and why?

S&C M&A?
Weil Debtor Side Restructuring?
CSM Corp?
DPW Debt Capital Markets?

Wtf is a median associate? At most of these firms median associate means you're put the door.

I don't understand this question.

Are you asking which group gets the most compensation while they're at the firm?
Maybe this is not the case everywhere, but at all of the firms I've looked at, your bonus is determined by your class and your billables; I've never heard of one particular group getting bigger bonuses than another -- at least not on the associate level.
In terms of partnership compensation, that's a whole different story, but since your question seems to ask specifically about associates, I think the answer is whichever firm bonuses out the highest in general.

The most relevant question here is, OP do you even have offers from all these firms? Are you even in law school yet?
