Email stating continued interest

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Sep 22, 2012 12:52 pm

Job through OCI chances are sort of hanging by a thread.... one callback a week and a half ago, one callback 2 days ago (those are my only hope). I really liked the first firm I interviewed with (big firm, NYC office), and I'm sort of going crazy waiting. Would it be a potentially good idea to email the recruiter saying that I'm still very interested and possibly say that they are my first choice (they are legitimately my first choice). How should I phrase that in an email?

I would wait another week. Follow up with:

X,

I just wanted to thank you again for meeting with me a few weeks ago. I enjoyed the interview and would like to restate my interest in working at Y this summer. At your convenience, please let me know if there are any updates on my application.

Sincerely,

Z
