Hi I am an associate working in a southern midlaw borderline biglaw firm. My GF is currently in med school and I think she would like to return to (a major us city) for her residency. I can't get into specifics about the firm, but the firm is well respected in a secondary city but is not V100. I am in the "transactional group" working on smallish M+A deals (50 million to 500 million.)
While she might be willing to stay in my city.... I would still like to have my options open in terms of possibly moving. What kind of things should I do/plan for the next 2-3 years.
Thanks
