Cleary vs. Sullivan & Cromwell
Both seem like great places, and I'm mostly interested in corporate, which seems to be at about the same strength in both places (though it's hard to tell from the outside). The main thing I hear is that Cleary is less stuffy/more flexible. Are the hours any different? Anything else I should be considering?

+1 Also very curious about this, especially DC vs. NY.

I'd go with Cleary. Better hours for roughly the same pay.

Maybe you mean in terms of different areas of strength, because there are not meaningful differences in overall strength.MTC87 wrote:There are definitely meaningful differences in the corporate practice strength of the two firms. Check the older threads. Hours are not different. Having done callbacks and second looks at both firms, I would agree that Cleary is more informal, though I've never heard that its work assignment system is "more flexible." Sullcrom's system is definitely one of the most wide-open ones out there.Anonymous User wrote:Both seem like great places, and I'm mostly interested in corporate, which seems to be at about the same strength in both places (though it's hard to tell from the outside).
