Gibson probably has a better corporate practice overall (definitely true nationally, probably also true in NY) unless you're dead set on something Milbank does particularly well (e.g., aircraft finance).
Also, I'm not sure how Milbank runs things, but you may want to consider GDC's free market work assignment system. I liked the sound of it, but could be a negative depending on your personality.
