I know of someone at my school with an offer. Don't know when his/her CB was, though.

they are awesome. the office is gorgeous, beautiful art everywhere and lots of light. everyone i met was extremely friendly and it seems like people have actual lives outside of the office but also enjoy one another's company. my whole callback experience was positive from beginning to end. :D

They're rolling out this new cb thing where they call back a bunch of people, stick you in a reception area, and have your next interviewers come up and find you by squinting at your name tag. I liked my interviewers, but I didn't really click with the people (mostly junior associates) who were milling around. I introduced myself to these two associates and spent a good chunk of time trying to think of conversation topics, because they just looked bored to tears and like they couldn't wait to get out of there. Maybe it was UChicago Night, because as soon as someone from U. Chi showed up, they perked right up and squeezed me out of the conversation.

Are there many people still in limbo? No rejection from the firm yet but no offer?

I had my interview last Friday (the 14th) and haven't heard anything yet. They said that they might take longer than normal because of the Jewish holidays though, so I'm still holding out some hope.

MVP, top 20%, LR.
I'm a little weirded out though because the first line of the email says "Delighted to learn you had received an offer" when this has been the first communication from FF since my cb.

9/10. Just got the offer call. Already accepted another offer, so I'm going to withdraw. Best of luck to those still waiting.
