Asking to extend judicial externship

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Sep 12, 2012 10:23 pm

Currently doing a federal judicial externship and really want to continue it another semester. How should I go about this and when should I ask? It seems asking now before they hire next term's externs might be good, but I don't think I've done enough work to prove myself. Then again, asking later might be too late. Not sure what I should do. Has anyone else here had luck doing this? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you talk to your clerks for advice?
