Aesthetic doesn't mean what you think it means.

As in nice offices with a view, marble floors, modern decor, beautiful people, etc. etc. none of which you will get to enjoy because you're too swamped with work?

No clue. Though I have heard beautiful people enjoying each other in the wee-hours of the morning behind closed doors.

You know, male lawyers who lift frequently, female associates who take care of their health/appearance etc etc.

Remember, this is the same person who though that he is "6'3" and athletic" was pertinent to his chances at a job.

Wrong profession. I would kindly suggest you explore the profession of personal training.

As I often say, our profession always tops the U.S. News substance abuse, depression, and divorce rankings. Can't top dentists for suicide though.

My dad is a dentist and has always supported my decision to go into law.

The most aesthetic law firm was Perkins Cole. Unfortunately, two totally hot female associates got preggers (one was married and the other went to a sperm bank specializing in Ivy League Grads who could run a 4.3 and ironically acted in soft-core cinemax movie's under pseudonyms). Also, they lost this one dude-- he benched, like, 325 but got a DUI and so he got the axe. They dropped over 15 slots in the rankings. It was a pretty big scandal.

The new number 1 is the David F. Shrager Law firm in Pittsburgh. It's two dudes, which made it number 2 before, but they're so good looking that they don't post real pictures of themselves. Apparently, when they used to do that modeling agencies would call so often that they would use up any incoming line and it really interfered with business.

At this point, your best bet is to get on Survivor. Most of the TALF (Top Aesthetic Law Firms) recruit exclusively from reality TV and Survivor is really the gold standard. Please don't listen to these haters. Aesthetics MATTER.

I'm genuinely curious what your definition of taking care of "health/appearance" means.

Odds improvement: 974 times more likely [for DPW lawyers] than the average American [of getting in the NYT wedding section].

^ Highly prestigious. Mirin aesthetics and capital markets IPO filing strength.

Wouldn't hurt to work around decent looking people. Both of my summer classes were much better looking than I expected. As for the associates...well...BigLaw takes a toll.
