Mintz Levin
Does anyone have any inside info on Mintz Levin? Is this a safe place to begin a career in Boston. What are some of the pros/cons?

Also - anyone with offers to Mintz yet? If so, what was the turnaround time?

Very well known in Boston. Have not heard anything bad about them.

Heard that sometimes there isn't enough work to go around. Probably why they're taking so few summer associates. Don't know for sure though because I don't know anyone inside.

Everyone I met there was very nice. Offices looked a little dated but I didn't get any bad vibes about the firm. Sorry wish I could contribute more.

Yes. But obviously Ropes, Wilmer, Choate, Goodwin, foley hoag and Bingham are better. I think one could take Mintz over Foley and maybe Choate, but I would advise against taking it over the others.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone have any inside info on Mintz Levin? Mintz, I think, sent out an email to those still being considered. They do not send out rejections until the class is filled, although it seems like they may have rejected people. Contact them, and they'll let you know your status.

This is right - I'm not sure that they sent out an email to EVERYONE still being considered, but if you contact them they will definitely let you know.Anonymous User wrote:Mintz, I think, sent out an email to those still being considered. How do you know? Perhaps they aren't really "considering people" but have sent out offers and have a waitlist?Anonymous User wrote:Mintz hasn't filled yet & is still considering people
