I interviewed earlier this week and they told me "up to two weeks." Good to know that might actually mean two weeks.Anonymous User wrote:CB a few weeks ago. Offer two weeks later.

Re: Hogan Lovells NY
Anyone know what their offer rate's been like? I know last year was high, but when I interviewed they'd just switched to a new callback style. Everything was compressed, seemed like it was to bring in more bodies, which I'd imagine would drive the rate down.

I know Hogan DC emails dings, does NY do the same? Just wondering if my ding letter is in snail mail now.

I interviewed 2 weeks ago today, and was told I'd hear within two weeks. Should I count this as a ding then?

Wouldn't say that. Some earlier posters said that 2 weeks elapsed between callback and offer. Don't think rejection until you get a rejection.Anonymous User wrote:I interviewed 2 weeks ago today, and was told I'd hear within two weeks. Should I count this as a ding then?

Same poster as two above. Freaking out; this is the only firm I have yet to hear from and I'm 0 for the rest. Has anyone heard anything from Hogan NY recently?

Going to give this a bump for the 2013 cycle. From what I could find, NY office dings via snail mail after CBs but can anyone verify this and how long it took?

What can anyone tell me about this firm? What is its reputation in DC and in other offices (NYC), particularly for transactional work? What about exit options - how do in house employers view Hogan? What about the stability of the firm? Any info would be appreciated!

Re: Hogan Lovells NY
I don't know much about the DC office except for that they're big in antitrust and they're a much larger office than NY. The NY office has a decent international arbitration department. No idea about in-house. I think it's pretty stable - they merged with Lovells 3 years ago and seem to be growing nicely. Their culture is known for being laid back and friendly, so if you want to be in NY without the awful NY work-till-midnight-then-go-party culture, it's a great place to be.Anonymous User wrote:What can anyone tell me about this firm?
