Does anybody have any information on this firm? Firm culture, salary, callback to offer ratio, etc...?

Don't do it! They did not offer last year's associates. Or they did, but he is being deferred until a later point in time. Basically, what was said was along the lines of "we can't hire you now, but you're the next person we're going to hire."
