Re: DOJ Honors Thread
Late Sept. 2012 – interview candidates selected
Mid. Oct – early Nov. 2012– interviews conducted
Late Nov. 2012 thru Feb. 2013 – offers extended
That's the timeline on the website, and I think last year's Honors Program ran about on time with that.
It's weird how they recommend you apply early but then clearly do nothing with your application until after the deadline.

I think it was just in that government honors handbook that U of A puts out.ajax adonis wrote:I didn't see that early apply recommendation. Maybe that's just in case the server goes down the night before the deadline?

My guess is that no one has heard anything and is staying silent until they do.

Re: DOJ Honors Thread
Yeah but last year people were here talking before and after submitting applications, during the wait.
We won't hear anything for at least another week, maybe two, based on their schedule.

Re: DOJ Honors Thread
Perhaps people are more nervous about being identified and hurting their chances. Or perhaps we are all so scared of unemployment that we are applying to everything under the sun rather than discussing our applications. Or perhaps people have given up and not as many people applied as last year out of fear of the competition. I'm just throwing out whatever pops into my head because I remember how much last year's thread was bumpin'.
