CCN below median with 7 CBs. Taking Qs
Just a few months ago, I thought I was going to strike out of OCI.
My CBs range from V25s to V100s, all in major markets.
Decided to start this thread to help others with below median grades and to share some hope!

I'm below median at a lower T-14 with 4 CBs from secondary markets. OCI is already over for me - anything you'd recommend at this point? Have been, and am continuing to, mass mail.

Slightly below median at Top 14. Multiple callbacks. Also haven't heard from more than 1/2 yet. Still hoping for an offer. Until then, can't really say much.

What do you attribute your success to?
How did you talk about grades during interviews?

How would you be helping others when their OCI is already over? This is just a sideways way of bragging. Be realistic.Anonymous User wrote:Just a few months ago, I thought I was going to strike out of OCI.

I'd understand if you made this next year in August or July or something. Right now all you're doing is rubbing it in because obviously your story is NOT the norm.

Even faced with the curve, median grades are taking a big hit, especially ITE. So how do you handle the grades topic during a CB interview (when questioned). Obviously, if your grades are median you are not on LR (but probably on a journal), there is that too.
Granted there are those with top 10 grades and LR but whose LS is below CCN. Is it possible that the firms look at those candidates differently since they were not able to qualify for a CNN/T14 LS?
