Taking Semester Off and Re-Doing 2L OCI w/ Higher GPA

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Aug 30, 2012 10:29 pm

Hypothetically: Take spring semester of 2L year off after crushing 2L fall classes bringing law school GPA up above a very important threshold (most of the biglaw firms don't do OCI interviews below this threshold), career services lets you redo 2L fall oci with your new GPA.

How will firms react to this? I'm sure this is kind of a weird and unique situation so there may only be a few recruiting types that can answer...

Before anyone flames with the old fashioned 'who knows how you will do in fall,' just pretend, for the sake of this hypo.
