Do firms tell you in advance about a meal?
Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you could tell me if firms typically notify you of a meal before your callback, or if they usually don't mention it until after the interview. Thanks so much!

IME, yes they do notify you. From what I understand, a meal or happy hour is fairly standard.

Each firm that did a meal told me about it when they told me who my interviewers were. If they don't mention it then, you can assume no meal even if runs through a time where there would normally be one.

Mine have not always told me, but usually did (even if only asking about dietary restrictions). I just ask how long to expect to be at the firm and if it's longer than 2.5 or 3 hours there's probably a meal in there.
