Do they really pay below market in LA? NALP says $125,000. I'm especially confused because my Googling says $144,000...

An attorney during a CB told me it is $125,000 first year, then back to market ($160,000) the following year. Not sure if that's currently accurate or not, but that's what the attorney got paid, evidently.
