I know that pre-2008 some firms invited joint degree students back summer after summer until they finished their programs (have friends that did this at Sullivan & Cromwell in NYC and Ropes & Gray in Boston).
Does anyone know of firms that share the wealth in this economy? Anyone summer with a multi-summer joint degree student? Know a classmate who keeps returning to the same firm?

The NY office of Paul Hastings lets JD/MBA students return for a second summer (either 4 weeks or the entire summer). Not sure about JD/PhD.
