Re: SLS OCI 2012
I know one person reported a Covington DC callback on Friday; anyone else hear back? I know they can take a bit longer because of the reference checking; just wanted to know if it seemed like their callback offers were complete. Interviewer = RAL.

Re: SLS OCI 2012
I've heard of a handful including myself, but since the calls went out on Friday and people started to leave town, there hasn't been as much of a grapevine. Last year they called back 11--I'd be surprised if the number this year varies that much.Anonymous User wrote:did W & C callback a substantial number of people? Re: SLS OCI 2012
Not well. I for one have zero callbacks at this point, and OCS tells me that I am not the only one in this boat. And my grades weren't horrible, either; slightly below median. I am trying not to freak out, but it's tough.Anonymous User wrote:How's everyone doing?

Re: SLS OCI 2012
I'm finding SF very difficult. In SV I got an offer for every callback I went on. In SF I have 1 offer from 4 CBs so far. Happy to have that, but it seems (from talking with friends) that summer classes this summer will be leaner than in previous years...Anonymous User wrote:How's everyone doing?

i'm still unclear on what people think is the median at this place. 4 Hs?Anonymous User wrote:Not well. Re: SLS OCI 2012
I've had almost the exact same experience. But I've also targeted LA as a safety net, and thank god - both of my offers thus far have been from SoCal firms. It's been brutal just getting a callback in SF.Anonymous User wrote:I'm finding SF very difficult. In SV I got an offer for every callback I went on. In SF I have 1 offer from 4 CBs so far. Also, re: the snail mail Sheppard Mullin ding, which office was that? I haven't heard back from LA yet, but I'm guessing that's as good as a ding.

Re: SLS OCI 2012
SF and DC are the two most difficult markets, by a long shot. That some people choose to target these two cities exclusively boggles the mind.
Also, median after 1L year is believed to be between 3-4 Hs. What is difficult to guess is the approximate distribution of grades. Do most of the people below median have 0 or 1 Hs? Does 10% of the class have 10+? Is it closer to a normal distribution, a bimodal distribution, etc.?
