Best Corporate Practice Outside V5
What firms have the best corporate practice outside the V5? Mainly interested in opinions regarding M&A and Capital Markets/Securities. Is it as simple as looking at the rest of the V10 and combining that information with some Chambers rankings?

Cleary, STB, Debevoise, Kirkland
V5 distinction is dumb. Plenty of reasons to choose above firms over a V5. In fact, one V5 in particular is not really an M&A shop, and another has been dropping the ball in the league tables.
And no one cares about Weil. Haha lol wtf!!!

Re: Best Corporate Practice Outside V5
In NYC, the best corporate firms can be found within the V15.
A far better tool would be to completely ignore vault and use the chambers rankings. Anything band 1/2 in the big practice areas is extremely Preftigious and will have extremely Preftigious clients for you to exit to.
The V5 probably disproportionately are the firms that represent banks and financial institutions though, which is something. Kinda.

Weil is the undisputed #1 for bankruptcy/restructuring, and it is def up there for M&A and PE.
