Did you get yours via email? I have not received anything yet. Congrats! Where do you go to school?

Yeah, it was sent out in an email this morning. I was at a T2 but transferred out.Anonymous User wrote:Did you get yours via email? I have not received anything yet. Congrats! Where do you go to school?

how hard is it to break into the seattle market? I got one interview, but not sure if it's worth the traveling cost since I have no ties and am going to school out of the area.
Also, I had always thought that interviews are preselect until I got the email.

It is my understanding that, without strong ties or coming from HYS, it is incredibly difficult to get Seattle.Anonymous User wrote:how hard is it to break into the seattle market? I'm in the same boat and canceling. Too expensive for too low odds. If I had more than 1 interview, I'd probs feel differently.Anonymous User wrote:how hard is it to break into the seattle market? You probably shouldn't waste your time and money if the interviews are for Seattle offices. PDX may be different if your ties are strong.Anonymous User wrote:So I was at SU but transferred out to a school in California... Ties to Portland and just the 1L tie to Seattle. Should I fly up for four interviews?
I don't particularly want Seattle
Did you do OCI at your transfer school?

Re: Northwest Minority Job Fair 2012
I'm going! I have three interviews, hoping to add a few more.
Since none of these offices attended my OCI, does anyone have general callback GPA cutoffs for these firms (Seattle or Portland)?

Dorsey
Foster Pepper
K&L Gates
Karr Tuttle
Lane Powell
Miller Nash
Perkins Coie
Stoel Rives
williams kastner
THANKS

I thought it went really well. Most people were able to add interviews throughout the day. I ended up with eight. Most of the people I interviewed with were great - really knowledgable and conscious about diversity at their firms. Really glad I went. Now the wait begins.
